2017
CHARDONNAY
CANADIAN OAK
VQA Lincoln Lakeshore
13% alc. / vol.
Production: 576 bottles
WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Hand harvested grapes
grown close to the shores of Lake Ontario were barrel fermented in small Canadian oak barrels.
The wood is sourced from trees grown in southern Ontario and air dried for a minimum of 3 years before being made in to barrels.
This wine is truly Canadian!
TASTING NOTES:
The wine has an intense aroma of pineapple, white peach and coconut, with hints of citrus peel. The palate has a beautiful richness that carries the flavours of roasted pineapples, baked apple and coconut spice.
A fine balance of acidity leading to a finish of ripe citrus fruits.
